I don’t need to touch grass, I need a Master’s Degree

In 2025, Dan started at Carthage College in their Master of Music in Musical Theatre Voice program. Here he is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Musical Theatre Techniques. In October, he had the opportunity to perform in the Meet the Master’s Concert.

A Summer in…Alaska?

In the summer of 2025, Dan spent four months playing guitar and singing at the Liarsville Salmon Bake and Gold Rush Trail Camp in Skagway, Alaska. Over the course of the summer, he played hundreds of songs for thousands of patrons coming from all over the world on various Alaskan Cruises.

A True Renaissance Man…

While Dan is primarily an actor, he does have a wide variety of skills as a musician. Dan has been casted in several productions as an actor and musician including Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash and Million Dollar Quartet. Dan has been playing Electric Bass for several years, but is also very capable on the Upright Bass and the Acoustic Guitar

A Story of Love and Loss…

In the spring of 2023, Dan had the opportunity to bring life to Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden. This story is very important to Dan, as it portrays some of the uglier sides of grief and the ways that we process it. Attached is the song Lily’s Eyes, performed by Dan Klimczak and Jack Doherty. The Secret Garden was directed by Molly Hill Fuller, Music directed by Sandy Hill, Stage managed by Emma Evenson, Set Design by Adam Sahli, Lighting Design by Alex Koontz, Sound Design by EJ Hancock, Costume Design by Angela Sahli, and Wigs by Madison Merlanti of Enchanting Mirror Designs

A Merry Christmas Indeed

In December of 2022, Dan got a chance to perform in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at Round Barn Theatre in Nappanee, IN. Throughout the run, Dan played Ralph Sheldrake as well as serving as a Dance Captain and Understudy for the role of Phil Davis. Fill the Cupboard Cabaret

In the autumn of 2021, Dan had the opportunity to perform in the annual Fill the Cupboard Cabaret at Indiana University South Bend. This event benefited the Titans Feeding Titans Food Bank in South Bend
